Questions, answered
How long is the ride?
One full rotation takes about thirty minutes — time enough to find your street, the bay, and the city you forgot was that big.
What time should I arrive?
For Classic Spin, arrive any time within your one-hour window. For timed experiences (Star Class, Happy Half Hour, Romance, Picnic and the Family package), arrive about 15 minutes before your start time.
Where is the Melbourne Star?
In Docklands, at 101 Waterfront City, a few minutes from the CBD and in the free tram zone.
Can I buy tickets on the day?
Yes. Walk-up is welcome, but booking online is cheaper and locks in your window.
Is the Star accessible?
Yes. Cabins are step-free and wheelchair accessible, and one carer per guest rides free.
Is it indoors?
Cabins are fully enclosed and climate controlled, so we run rain or shine.
